Provoking the mood of over 450 years of customs, costumed interpreters can be watched throughout Henry eight’s & King William III?s spectacular State dwellings. The scenes, sounds and whiff of the elegant Tudor kitchens where royal feasts were set-up for Henry?s dinning room of over eight-hundred folks can also be viewed.

Hampton Court Palace has been divided into six different routes or journeys. The Maze at Hampton Court Palace that is located on the Thames to the west of the Capital is perhaps the most famous hedge maze in the world. Visit Hampton Court Palace and enjoy the most famous hedge maze in the world.

Hampton Court palace has a brutal heritage & is supposed to be occupied by several phantoms, including 2 of Henry eights dead wives & a nursemaid to his children. Hampton Court Palace wardens & hostesses will be around to assist people to their chosen state accommodation for a sparkling wine and canap?s reception. Uniformed employees will broadcast the evening dinner & guests will be requested to locate their selected seats for a breathtaking 2 course meal with hand-picked fine red and white wines.

Hampton Court Palace has over sixty acres of formal grounds besides the six-hundred acres of royal parkland. The royal gardens date back to the sixteenth Century, when the 1st Privy Garden was put down between 1530 and fifteen thirty eight for King Henry the eighth.

Love, Lies, Betrayal, And Deceit - Why Do We Lie To Those We Love?

Filed under: Misc Stuff — admin at 10:47 pm on Monday, May 26, 2008

Why do husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, lie to each other?

Our romantic relationships are seldom what they seem. We all want a relationship that is built on openness, intimacy, and trust, but the truth is, our relationships do not always work that way. More often than not, our intimate relationships involve secrecy and deceit. In fact, if you want to look for deception and betrayal in your own life, the best place to start is close to home. Husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, often lie about their true feelings for each other, the feelings they have for others, and their level of commitment. Indeed, it is safe to say that people save their biggest and most serious lies for those they love.

For better or worse, our romantic relationships are full of paradoxes which we try to overlook, downplay and ignore. For the most part, this strategy works well. Until the day comes when it doesn’t, and with little warning or preparation we have to confront face-on the reality that our close relationships are not exactly what they appear to be.

Eventually, almost everyone will catch a spouse or partner in one of their lies. Inevitably, we have a difficult time coping with what we have learned and dealing with the fact that someone close has betrayed our trust. We do not expect our partners to mislead us, nor do we have insight into how and why deception occurs.

In fairness, it should also be mentioned that it is just as likely that a partner or spouse will catch you in one of your own attempts to deceive. And ironically, we are just as unprepared to deal with this kind of situation.

Ignoring the paradoxes inherent in our romantic relationships turns out to be a costly strategy and most people pay the price for this decision, unexpectedly, and all at once. It’s not so much that coming to terms with the use of deception in romantic relationships will solve all of the problems you are going to encounter, but it will certainty help to reduce the stress, anxiety, and uncertainty that occur when deception eventually comes to light.

In fact, when it comes love and romance, most of the things we believe, are not true. Most people believe that all of their marital or relational problems can be solved through “communication.” We believe that deception is difficult to achieve, that misleading a partner requires a lot of effort and thought, and that romantic partners can tell when a lover is lying, and so on. None of these widely held beliefs, however, are supported by the evidence. Rather, our romantic relationships are held together by a delicate balance of both candor and deceit. And both are critical to making our intimate relationships work.

In reality, romantic relationships entail two important features which allow deception to flourish: abundant opportunity, as well as the need to deceive. As we get close to another person, we intentionally and unintentionally provide them with a great deal of information about who we are, revealing ourselves through both our words and deeds. Creating this kind of intimacy or shared knowledge is critical, as it serves as the foundation for a lot of important rewards. Through our close relationships, we create gains with respect to our health, wealth, and emotional well-being.

Because relationships provide so many important rewards, it should come as no surprise that people are inclined to view their romantic partners in a positive light. We place a lot of trust in our romantic partners. We think we know them well. But while our trust surely provides us with a sense of security and comfort, it also lays the ground for deceit. For as we trust our partners more, we also become more confident but less accurate at determining when the truth is being told.

Every relevant study attests to the fact that lovers are terrible at telling when their partners are lying. In fact, detecting deception with anyone is difficult to do, but lovers manage to take this general failure to a spectacular low. Again, as we become more confident that we can tell when a lover is lying, the exact opposite turns out to be true. This “truth-bias” or “blind faith” provides the perfect opportunity for romantic partners to engage in deception. After all, who makes a better victim than someone who is eager and willing to trust everything you have to say?

Not only do close relationships create a wonderful opportunity for deception to occur, they also create the need. While romantic relationships offer many rewards, they also tend to be overly constrictive. Most everyone has felt the constraints of a close relationship from time to time; quite simply you are no longer free to do what you want, when you want, and with whom you want. So intimacy provides tremendous rewards, but at an enormous cost - the loss of your freedom and autonomy.

Lying to a romantic partner helps us deal with the constraints that our intimate relationships impose. Quite frankly, deceiving a romantic partner turns out to be the most efficient and effective way of maintaining the rewards we get from our romantic relationships while pursuing extra-relational goals and activities behind a partner’s back.

How do we decide when to lie and when to tell the truth? Well, most of the time we do not intentionally think about misleading our partners. Rather such decisions are governed by our emotions and just seem to happen when the right situation presents itself. Often a sense of excitement, opportunity, and exhilaration can lead us down paths we had no intention of traveling. A sense of fear, loss, and trepidation, on the other hand, prompt us to cover-up what we’ve done and be more conservative in the short-term. Luckily our emotions are very good at reading situations and keeping our deceptive behavior within limits. Our emotions prompt us to regain some of our freedoms while also allowing us to maintain the benefits we get from our intimate relationships.

When you take a step back and put it altogether, the picture that emerges tends to be rather ironic. Because our romantic relationships are so rewarding yet constrictive, we are simultaneously more truthful and more deceptive with those we love. Additionally, we place the most trust in the person who is most likely to deceive us, just as we are most likely to deceive the person who loves and trusts us the most. These are just a few of the paradoxes that emerge when taking a close look at the use of deception in our romantic relationships. Most of what is uncovered runs counter to our most cherished beliefs about love and romance; that is, the idea that complete openness and intimacy are a central and defining feature of being in love.

Initially most people avoid looking for deception by a loved one. But as you begin to examine your own behavior more closely it becomes harder to dismiss the degree to which lies, betrayal, secrecy and deceit are ever present in our close relationships. Hopefully, you will take on a greater appreciation for the complexities of your relationships as well as a richer understanding of what it means to be in love. Regardless of the final outcome, taking a close look at deception in your life will change the way you view yourself and others.

Computer Consulting Services: Selling the Network as Security and Data Protection

Filed under: Sales Hub — admin at 10:16 pm on Sunday, May 25, 2008

Small business prospects and clients may view your computer consulting services as part of their insurance policy. You write up a service agreement that lists what’s covered and what’s not, as well as various parameters for coverage. Then each month, quarter, or year you collect some kind of retainer deposit, similar to an insurance premium.

Play Up the Value of your Computer Consulting Services

Part of the reason small business owners never miss a premium is because they want to make sure that your firm will be there in their time of need. So effectively, one of the reasons small businesses hire your firm is for “security”. Rather than go kicking and screaming trying to vehemently deny this, play up the value of your computer consulting services and add security and data protection into your sales pitch - as major parts of your clients’ network investments.

Superior Security Foundation

Be sure to weave some of the following security and data protection points into your computer consulting services sales presentations. In sharp contrast to a client/server network like the one you’re proposing, a peer-to-peer “server” generally isn’t capable of maintaining its own user account security database.

As a result, a standalone peer-to-peer network is limited to “share-level” access control. This means everyone that connects to this peer-to-peer “server” share point has the same user name and password. There’s no way to differentiate between access levels of users and no way to terminate an individual’s password when he or she leaves the company.

Highlight Your Computer Consulting Services

A dedicated server OS, on the other hand, provides much better control over who has access to which shared resources. Each person can be assigned his or her own user name and password. Be sure to highlight how your proposed networking solution takes this into account.

Security with your proposed networking solution is also more flexible or granular. With most peer-to-peer “servers”, security can only be controlled at the share level. When a share point is set up on a dedicated server with a true NOS security can be controlled all the way down to the file level.

The Bottom Line about Computer Consulting Services

Consider adapting this file cabinet analogy for your client presentations: Would you rather grant employees unrestricted access to an entire room full of file cabinets, or just a few select hanging folders in certain file drawers which are pertinent to their job?

It’s The Law

Filed under: Political Activism — admin at 10:40 am on Sunday, May 25, 2008

We are a nation of law, not men. This is the mantra of the people who make law, day after day, century after century. Can we ever tire of hearing we must behave a certain way because it’s the law? Not only is it the law, ignorance of it is no excuse. Since no American home can contain it all in paper volumes, ignorance of the law is a natural fact of life, excuse or not. That which we have and can’t possibly know is never enough because lawmaking and enforcement are lucrative growth industries to benefit a few at the expense of many.

Government of the people, by the people, for the people can only exist on the local level and then only until a “superior” government of the people, by the rich, for the rich, supplants it. It is not ignorance of the law that enslaves us, it is our ignorance of its origins that does so. The rich exploiters of humanity write the laws we live by and have their professional servants transcribe them into the proper jargon. Jargon that makes them difficult or impossible to understand until after one has been charged with a violation that demands professional defense. How convenient for the ever expanding law profession. There appears to be a huge conflict of interest in allowing lawyers to write any laws. They and politicians are the lap dogs of the powerful - legal guns.

Statute law, which is given much more weight than divine law, traditional common law and natural law; is mostly created by people who profit by controlling the behaviors of their ignorant and busy servants. These rich and powerful people define and control the education of their subjects. An education to convince us all we are accidental beings living lives of accidental circumstance, of no particular value. No master is responsible for anything that happens in global events but servants are responsible for their own compliant behavior. When a servant rebels, the servant is processed through the masters’ just us system and locked in a cage. We call this freedom and justice because our masters tell us it is freedom and justice, from the time we enter their youth indoctrination centers.

Guaranteed a jury of your peers, the definition of peer is any ignorant person who will follow the instructions of some judge. One who knows nothing about the suppression of evidence and criminal behaviors occurring daily in the masters’ courts. The few who discover this fraud become even more angry and rebellious so their punishment becomes a most useful example to others who might not be compliant enough to make life easy for the masters’ administrators. We give the rebels a label to distinguish them from the compliant. We call them criminals. A criminal is any person who violates any rule. This makes life very simple for the masters and their servants. It makes life intolerable for the non compliant rebels who become full of anger and resentment to the point of violence against their natural enemies, the compliant servants. The victims of violence rhetorically ask, why me? Then they demand the arrest, conviction and punishment of the rebel. The rebel is later released to injure more servants who will demand more punishment. It is such a clever money scheme that not one in a hundred ever sees it as it is.

Terrorist is the name we give to rebels who see the servants of the rich as the enemies within their reach. Rebels attack and destroy them to create fear and reluctance among survivors. We call their victims innocent because they do not receive show trials of “justice” for their crimes of serving the masters in rebel courts. Until the rebels decided they would rather die before they would be servants of the rich, the masters did not concern their selves. Now the masters have a serious problem because fear prevents servants from working and tithing the rich. However, when you rule the world, labor problems and economic slowdowns work out over time as people starve and kill each other. All is well that ends well. We can observe this process every day in Iraq.

The difference between the servants and the rebels is that servants lock rebels in cages and rebels simply kill servants. Servants are caring. Rebels are barbaric. In truth the rebels are simply too poor to afford the cages and prisoner support servants can afford. Rebels can recruit servants to become rebels but servants cannot recruit rebels to become servants except on rare occasions. Millions of Americans, while now locked in cages, or were formerly locked in cages, most never wanted to serve the rich in any direct way. Those who have been released and have tried to go straight, a euphemism for serving the rich, have found it extremely difficult to do so. In any event, they have scores to settle with the servants and have much in common with those we call terrorists. As isolated as they are when in cages, they have to admire the rebellion of those called terrorists and that one person can cause destruction far beyond what we might expect of any one person. Our prisons are domestic recruitment pools for terror.

Not far behind prisoners, will be Native, African and Hispanic Americans who have scores to settle with the rich and their obedient servants. The refusal of the masters to compensate these people for the life and property taken from them and their ancestors by the masters over hundreds of years, make natural rebels of them all. Add to them the members of the radical left and right and we have many millions to carry on the work begun in Oklahoma City. As you wonder about your allegiance to the masters and look around for danger and warning, start thinking like a rebel, just in case. It is not the goal of the rebels to destroy entire cities, yet. Rather, it is the goal to bankrupt the servants until they too rebel against the masters. Once you start thinking how much money you can cost the enemy, you can become far more creative than any member of Al Qaeda. Even if you have no intention of joining the rebellion, you will be safer and better able to survive the domestic war that began years before Oklahoma City.

The plans to impose martial law in America will work as well as they would in Afghanistan and Iraq. The servants of the rich will become loyal to local warlords. Donald Rumsfeld’s light, fast armies will be far too few to fight globally and domestically. When government returns to conscription to build up their forces, recruits will be slaughtered as they stand in the lines. Millions will leave the U.S. to survive, watch what is happening and form fifth columns to fight with the rebels and against the servants of money, wherever they find them. War again becomes simple to understand - the rich against the poor. The weapons favor the rich. The numbers and strategy favor the poor. Place your bets. Make your plans. The lawless are coming to power. The law won’t save anyone. The old value system and its supporters have to go.

Determining the worth of a public relations presence online

Filed under: Marketing Infos — admin at 5:29 pm on Saturday, May 24, 2008

There are now well over thirty millions websites on the Internet, so achieving a presence on the web at times can seem near impossible. There are so many free promotional opportunities, paid sponsorship and directory listing availabilities to make the process of promoting your website, its company and its products and services extremely difficult. If you are exhausted with advertising, and fed up with over-hyped marketing techniques, consider developing a public relations presence online; it’s half the time and financial investment and twice the long-term benefit.

What is Online Public Relations?

Public relations serves many functions that you probably utilize in many disparate arenas of your company’s business already. Online Public Relations or Internet PR not only helps drive traffic your website but helps you build brand identity in the eyes of your visitors. Online PR can be broken down into several distinct service efforts, including website and industry audits, mini-website PR campaign development, Web focused press releases and online product reviews, link building campaigns, copy and email writing, newsgroup/forum/blog participation and much more.

Do I need an Online Public Relations Campaign?

Probably not! For many website promoters, traditional online advertising such as banners or pay per click search engines suffice in bringing in good quality traffic. Other website promoters do the same by optimizing their websites for premium placement through search engine marketing tactics. If you’re struggling either paying for your online advertising or conducting your own search engine marketing programs, online public relations campaigns might be a good fit for your online business.

What does it take to be successful with Online PR campaigns?

You could be successful with a public relations campaign yourself if you possess time, creativity and tenacity. Successful online PR campaigns have several things in common, including an extensive online PR plan. These Online PR plans detail what it will take to achieve a successful online PR campaign, the steps that should be taken to develop that online PR campaign, procedures and protocols on how to maintain and maximize online PR efforts, offer insights into how you can directly profit from Internet publicity campaigns, and some means to help you measure the effectiveness of those public relations efforts on the Web.

Kanye West at Grand Prairie’s Nokia Theatre

Filed under: Sounds — admin at 4:02 am on Saturday, May 24, 2008

Once Again Kanye West proves his worth at an incredible show at Grand Prairie’s Nokia Theatre. Kanye’s performance is yet another exhibition of how Kanye West can make a name for himself by performing to a huge crowd and earning respect.

Kanye West is on cloud nine at the moment since his Late registration CD has sold more than 860,000 copies on its debut. But there is more to the story about respecting Kanye West.

Kanye had Fantasia Barrino (The last American Idol winner) open up for his concert, but she ended up not performing. Kanye, being a man of respect and honor, offered refunds to his fans, but there were hardly any takers. You see, once again, Kanye West proves his power, and shows the respect he commands from Kanye fans.

My man Kanye West is at it again, proving that no man of action, especially Kanye West, can sit without change. The new website is coming soon. We are totally excited and cant wait until Kanye releases this new phat joint.

In the meantime, Kanye West has two dope links to either of his fire-bombin joints: Gold Digger and Diamonds. Great tunes, totally expressing the need for Kanye West as president.

Kanye, keep up with the change. Just as the pioneers moves west, so does Kanye.

Kanye West will indeed show the American public that he is the only choice for Presdent of The United States.

How To Start A Home Based Gift Basket Business

How To Start A Home Based Gift Basket Business

Many of us dream of working from home, spending more quality
time with our families. I decided to do just that. Yes i was
afraid of failing, not being able to handle the pressures of
running a business, and looking after my family at the same
time. So i began my search for the right business to start, GIFT
BASKETS! I use to give them for gifts to family members, so I
thought why not make money while doing something I loved.

STARTUP As with any new business, you will have to make a number
of decisions. What types of baskets will you offer? If you are
working from home do you have enough space for creating your
baskets? What is your target market? And most of all how will
you reach them? If you plan to start on a shoestring budget,
start slow and work from home. running your business from home
will allow you to save on overhead expenses.

Income Potential Your income potential depends on how hard you
work and market your business. Industry insiders estimate
potential revenues to range from 10,000 annually working part
time from home.

Your Gift Baskets You can either offer a wide selection of gift
baskets, or focus on a smaller market. Some of the common gift
baskets being offered include the following: Gourmet/Food Gift
Baskets. These are the most popular gift baskets businesses give
to their clients, friends and family. Bath And Body Gift
Baskets. These are very popular! Ingredients of these baskets
include toiletries like scented soaps, fragrances, olis,
lotions, and aromatherapy products. These are just a few
selections of gift baskets offered, the list goes on.

Inventory You inventory level should alway grow as your sales
grow. Start small, keeping inventory at a relistic level. You
can purchase inventory for your gift baskets either wholesale or
retail. I would advise buying at wholesale price, because you
may buy in quantities.

Keep Things In Order With A Written Home Decorating Plan

Filed under: Universe Of Lifestyle — admin at 1:09 am on Friday, May 23, 2008

Begin your written plan by choosing one room to start with. This
helps keep you and your budget focused on the project. Which not
only guarantees it’s completion, it’s going to save you money.

Why? Remember impulse buying, well it’s less likely to occur if
you’ve planned and written down items specifically for that one
room.

Think about it this way; You go to the grocery store without a
list, what happens? Everything looks good, so you end up buying
extra things you do not need and probably forget a few essential
items.

Tip: A large notebook or blank writing journal will help make
this process easier.

This will come in handy for jotting down ideas, measurements,
color choices, keeping track of purchases even drawing out a
layout of your room. Also, if your purchasing any large items
furniture, lighting, carpet etc. this is a good place to keep
track of stores that carry things you’ve seen and the prices.
Now that you have chosen the room, the next step is to think
about how the room is used.

Sound like a strange thought, well not really. This will
determine the direction your decorating goes in.

For Example: Lets say your looking to make changes in your
living room. Is this the main area used for entertaining, family
gatherings or watching TV and movies? Do you have children with
friends hanging out at your home. How about pets, are they
normally in here with you?

Sound like home, if so than practical, less fussy is the
direction to go.

There are endless ways to make your room function well and still
have great style.

A few ideas might include:

1) Durable easy clean fabrics, like removable, washable
slipcovers

2) Baskets or plastic stacking crates are perfect for remotes,
DVD’S, CD’s and games. This makes for easy pick up at the end of
the day, or when company suddenly shows up.

3) Possibly fewer pieces in the room, giving you more floor
space.

Tip: Look for pieces that will serve double duty. Many ottomans
today have build in storage, do you get extra seating plus some
place to stash things quick.

4) Large floor pillows for TV or movie watching (kids, for some
reason love laying on the floor).

5) If space permits, a table and chairs for playing games, doing
craft or homework projects.

6) Washable latex paint for easy clean up.

The final step is to be realistic about your list of changes.
Choose things that fit comfortably into your current budget,
overtime more things can be done.

So for right now, just remember, simple savvy changes can make a
big difference

If You Try To Learn It All At Once…You’ll Never Get There

“If You Try To Learn It All At Once… You’ll Never Get There”
copyright 2001-02 John Evans

Remember when you were in school, and had to cram for a test?
‘All that material’! ‘How am I ever going to learn it all’?

That may be a classic case of “overload”, or so it seemed at the
time.

Back then, we HAD to “learn it all”, right then and there. We
had no choice, if we wanted to pass.

Running an online business, though, we do have a choice.

Maybe a common problem with many people, when they decide to
start an online business, is that they try to learn it all
FIRST, before they start their business.

If you try to do that, you may find yourself with SO much
information, advice, and plans, that you just might become
‘bogged down’.

It can happen!

One guru tells you one way to “do it”, and someone else tells
you something entirely different. One ebook says one thing,
another ebook says something else.

Part of the problem is that everyone has their own method of
doing business online. Even those telling you ‘how’ to make
money online, may not be actually making money themselves.

So, what’s a person to do…?

START NOW! START WITH WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW !

Get your own domain name! You want others to KNOW that you’re a
business person.

Learn to make a web site. Doesn’t have to be a BIG site; one
page is a good start. Then gradually add to it.

Making your own web site is not as difficult as it may seem. Get
a good web site program and GO TO WORK ON IT.

Find at least ONE good program to sell, AND SELL IT! There are
many good programs all over the Internet, so what are you
waiting for? (But, make sure it’s something that will be of
value to, and benefit your visitors.)

Already have an idea for an online business? Great! Then do
something with it NOW! Not next week.

What are you waiting for?

Guides For Perfect Car Dealerships

Filed under: Wheels — admin at 12:17 am on Thursday, May 22, 2008

Have you considered buying a used car? There are fair and not-so-fair deals lurking around but for most of us, we are not just looking for something fair, we are looking for something great!

The Internet will equip you with valuable details about unbiased car reviews and ratings, including price ratings, specifications and reasonable, yet honest, reviews, including photos of used cars.

Comparison shops furnish and maintain databases as well where they keep price listings for used cars with their respective merchandisers across the net.

Private Seller Listings: Great Deals for Real

Great deals may not always turn out great in some circumstances. Unwise selection and choice of car dealers could lead you to wasting your money.

In fact in 2004 alone, it was recorded that half of those who bought their own cars in the US have considered purchasing used cars rather than brand new ones. A great deal of the population is becoming more and more open to buying used cars due to their maintenance flexibility and overall cost.

This information should give you more reason to research on which car dealerships are offering the most sought after secondhand cars on the net.

While used cars are getting more popular today it is practical and wise to look for specs which includes conditioning requirements, vehicle history and real pricing report and comprehensive range of values for used cars and possible trade-ins and leasing.

Look for Reviews

A good car dealership offers accurate and honest advice and reviews for prospective car buyers. Reviews provide clients with information regarding the nature of the product and its relative condition.

Others even provide true-cost-to-own values in order to better prepare you for the cost of the transaction. Many even dispense alluring incentives and rebates for sale buyers and those who opt for deduction on certain payment methods for easy money transactions.

The majority of dealer networks across the internet provide search listings to better approximate your location and needs. Search listings would provide you a roster detailing the latest used car models on sale together with their descriptions, vehicle condition, history reports and cosmetic essentials and requirements.

Although most accept trade-ins, some assess additional charges for appraisal, and the value-assessment might fall lower than you expected. Used cars may range from $15,000 + to $30,000 + for a good one. Some would even drop below $20,000 but requires a considerable amount of reconditioning.

Gregory Ashton, your resident automobile enthusiast, bringing to you over 20 years of vehicular passion, and expertise; presents for your approval his insider secrets on selecting, buying, and maintianing the car that is ideal for you. www.best-car-buying-tips.com
